Peace, Love and Houndstooth
A real-life modern Southern Belle in my mid-20's. Well, almost. Still early 20's. I love sweet tea and Alabama football. I'm not a team groupie - I can watch and follow it. I follow recruiting, too, and follow our former players in the NFL. I am very polite - until you offend my cooking, my shoes or my NCAA football team. If you offend all three, you're going to have a very bad day.

Period House in East Suffolk, England. Built in the late 1400s. You can still see inside the walls the wooden beams from the half-timber (or timber framing) method of building! So cool!
To create framed structures, early carpenters used heavy timber jointed together with various joint methods. They filled the spaces between the timbers with wattle and daub (mud or animal dung that fills woven branches or slats), loam (sand, silt and clay mixture), bricks or rubble.
