My favorite Joseph Gordon-Levitt role to-date: Hesher, the rage-filled, thrash metal-loving stoner anarchist who befriends a young boy! I appreciated accurate thrash metal songs to go along with the movie soundtrack, mainly Metallica, which started it all when they were the catalyst which ignited the Bay Area metal scene then recorded Kill ‘Em All with the Zazulas in NYC.
